Waitemata District Health Board is the largest secondary healthcare provider in New Zealand, serving a rapidly increasing and multicultural population of around 445,000 people.

We provide medical, surgical and maternity care and operate the country's largest forensic psychiatric unit, the Mason Clinic, an international leader in its field. We also provide Auckland's regional alcohol and drug services as well as regional school dental services.

As a young, rapidly expanding health service, we are looking at innovative ways of meeting patient needs as we develop new services. We have nearly completed an extensive modernisation and upgrade programme that will see North Shore Hospital become a full district general hospital and Waitakere Hospital upgrade to a sub district general hospital in 2004.

Waitemata District Health Board presently has no vacancies listed in our database.
