NHS Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is one of the largest CCGs in Cheshire and Merseyside, serving a population of approximately 330,000 with a budget of approximately £500m. We are responsible for commissioning the majority of health care on Wirral including hospital, mental health and community services. The CCG is made up of 51 general practices and has a track record of collaborative working with health and care partners to improve care for patients by developing better care pathways and providing high standards of clinical care. We are committed to working closely with patients, carers, the public and our clinicians to develop and maintain high-quality, value for money services, whilst reducing inequality.
