Job overview
The Workforce Recruitment and Sourcing & Workforce Resource Management teams sit within the Business Operations function for the Data and Analytics Directorate and work collaboratively to serve all services, programmes, and functions in the directorate.
The teams undertake tactical, operational, and strategic activities needed to attract, recruit, retain, develop, and deploy the people and skills required, based on existing and predicted demand.
Underpinning this is the work of the Management Information & Establishment Control workstream, providing clear, accurate, and timely workforce management information and data.
The workforce data is collected from multiple data sets and systems, then organised and linked to offer valuable insights for different teams. The management information covers all types of resources and is used by a range of audiences for tactical problem-solving, operational efficiency, and strategic workforce planning.
The team are now looking for an experienced Business & Operational professional to support the development, maintenance and improvement of workforce data and management information to support governance and informed decision making for a wide range of stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
The Principal Business & Operational Delivery Administrator will support both Workforce Recruitment and Sourcing & Workforce Resource Management teams and will:
- Ensure that management information tasks and activities are planned, managed, and delivered effectively to meet the needs of a range of stakeholders.
- Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders (both providers and users of data) ensuring a clear understanding of their requirements.
- Consider and support the development of data assets, including the best method of delivery to improve access and timeliness of Workforce Management Information.
- Consider improved workable solutions to ensure accurate, timely and quality management information in response to emerging business need.
- Consider the business processes, systems and tools that can be used to ensure data flows between management information data assets.
- Present analysis in a range of formats to support intelligent decision making by a variety of stakeholders.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
